Local residents over 50 can gain free access to medical insurance experts at the November 13 Medicare Fair.
The most experienced Riversiders know that The Janet Goeske Center ensures nobody feels lonely or bored. In addition to the center’s daily social and wellness offerings, special events are held throughout the month. These events entertain, inform, and assist Riverside seniors. Most events are free to members and open to the community.
Medicare Expo- November 13
Medical insurance is increasingly complicated and constantly changing. Many services go unrendered simply because those who need them have difficulty navigating the system. The Goeske Center offers everyone over the age of 50 an opportunity to talk with Medicare and Private Insurance company representatives about existing and available plans. The event is free and open from 9 am to 12 pm on Wednesday, November 13.
Craft Fair- November 21
The holiday season is upon us. Wearing festive clothes and accessories and decorating our homes, offices, and cars is part of the fun of the season. You can get everything that you need at the big box stores, but there’s something about having something unique and handmade that makes an item special. The Goeske Center will host local crafters and artisans for a holiday craft fair from 10 am-4 pm on Thursday, November 21. This is a great opportunity to buy unique gifts and decorations for you and your family and friends.
The Janet Goeske Center is open to all Riversiders 50 years or older. It is at 5257 Sierra Street, Riverside, CA 92504. More info about their offerings and events can be found here.
