Gram Worthy Picks
A prompt to encourage your practice of creativity this week from Riversider and local author Larry Burns.
The public is invited to submit their best photos of city parks for a chance to win cash prizes
Riverside Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department sponsors the Story We Tell photography contest. Grab your camera (phones are great cameras) and visit one of the parks, pools, or community centers around Riverside. The contest is open to everyone; you do not have to be a professional to enter. Submissions for the competition are due August 15, 2024.
3 cash prizes will be awarded, with the winners receiving 1st place ($200), 2nd place ($100), and 3rd place ($50). The PRCSD will use some of the remaining submissions in their Activity Guide, on social media, and during department presentations.
To submit a photo, residents must ensure that their photo aligns with one of the following categories: Riverside Parks, I Love Riverside Parks, Open Space, or City of Riverside PRCSD Classes/Programs & Events/Sports. You can access the official rules and submit your photo here at TheStoryWeTell.org.
