Yoga, dancing and puppies, it’s all happening on Saturday. Benefiting charities, scholarships and mental and physical health these are some do good to feel good events happening in Riverside.

Saturday, August 27

Malts and Mantras

Time: 10 a.m.
Location: Wicks Brewing, 11620 Sterling Ave. Suite C, Riverside, CA
Cost: $10

This is a monthly yoga session held in the taproom of Wicks Brewing. Cost includes a beverage and yoga session. All levels and ages are welcome.

Inland Empire Dance Festival

Time: 6 p.m.
Location: The Box Theatre, 3635 Market Street (2nd floor) Riverside, CA
Cost: $25 (No Cash)

The third annual festival will host professional dance performances by several companies. Proceeds will go to the IE Contemporary Ballet scholarship. Due to some mature content in the show, it is not recommended for children 16 and under.

Clear the Shelters

Time: 12 p.m.-7 p.m.
Location: Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center, 6165 Industrial Ave. Riverside, CA
Cost: $20

Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center teams up with NBC 4 and Telemundo 52 for this nationwide event. The cost includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines and a microchip.

Putts for Paws

Time: 5 p.m
Location: Castle Park, 3500 Polk Street Riverside, CA
Cost: $15

Inland Empire Goth and Dr. Strange Records team up to host a mini-golf tournament with 35% of proceeds going to Hope for Paws an animal rescue organization. Teams of four or more will find new rules at each hole guaranteed to keep the whole group laughing. An awards ceremony will follow with awards given out for best dressed, worst player and more.
