With all of Riverside's 84 precincts reporting as of roughly 3:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, results are becoming clear.
Sitting Ward 2 Councilmember Clarissa Cervantes holds a 63 vote lead over Leticia Castillo for the for the State Assembly District 58 seat.
Incumbent Dale Kinnear leads Karen Coleman for RUSD Trustee Area 2, holding a 7-point lead with all 16 of Trustee Area 2's precincts reporting.
Amanda Vickers leads Chani Beeman in RUSD Trustee Area 2, winning 55% of the votes with all 23 of Trustee Area 3's precincts reporting.
Jesse Tweed holds the lead in RUSD Trustee Area 4, with nearly 50% of votes counted with all 15 of Trustee Area 4's precincts reporting.
Amanda Vasquez beat incumbent Lizeth Vega by 216 votes with all 4 of Alvord's Trustee Area 2's precincts reporting.
In the battle for Trustee Area 4, left vacant after Robert Schwandt died in June, Norma Berrellez holds a 16-point lead with all 4 of Alvord's Trustee Area 4's precincts reporting.
Measure L, which would amend the City Charter to create a new Office of Inspector General, appointed by the Mayor and City Council to serve as an auditor of the City’s spending and operations, received 63% of the votes counted.
Measure CC, a $954,000,000 bond measure to fund the Riverside Community College District facility repairs and expansions, leads by 10 points.
