“Winner, winner, chicken dinner!” Fans of the chicken sandwich will be cheering if the Planning Commission approves the Conditional Use Permit and Design Review for a new Chick-fil-a drive-thru only restaurant this morning.
The project plans detail a 2,930-square-foot restaurant on 1.36-acres in the corner of the Citrus Landing shopping center. Stater Bros. Market opened their newest store on the site of the former K-Mart, at the corner of Van Buren and Arlington Avenues in September 2022. Locals familiar with the dinner hour traffic challenges at the Central Avenue entrance Chick-fil-a across from the Riverside Plaza will be pleased to see plans which accommodate 31 vehicles at a time in the double drive-thru lanes.
