The Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce has announced Cindy Roth, its former President and CEO, as the recipient of the 2023 Citizens of the Year Award. Roth will receive the award at the Chamber's 124th Inaugural Celebration on April 17, 2024.
From her start as a receptionist for the Chamber, Roth became an active leader in the Riverside region's economic development and community improvement in her 45-year-long career. Some of her most notable accomplishments include her work securing $419 million in funding for the construction of the California Air Resources Board emissions testing facility, establishing the School of Medicine at UCR, and working with the City to implement the Streamline Riverside initiative.
