City Council will consider $20.1 million in state funds to convert a motel into 114 affordable apartments, review a fire service study recommending 84 new firefighters and two stations, and approve a $4 million increase for Mission Boulevard Bridge replacement.
Leticia Castillo has announced her campaign for State Assembly’s 58th District in the 2024 election. This seat is currently held by Sabrina Cervantes, who is now running for the State Senate. The 58th District represents Grand Terrace, Jurupa Valley, and parts of Corona, Eastvale, and Riverside. Castillo, a resident of Home Gardens, works for the County of Riverside as a mental health clinical therapist. She is a CAGOP Delegate and the Vice President of the Riverside Republican Assembly.
“Through my own faith in God,” says Castillo, “I believe he is leading me to pursue the Assembly of California to help restore balance and a good quality of life to the people of Assembly District 58 and ultimately, the entire state.”
Assemblyman Bill Essayli and Sherrif Chad Bianco have endorsed Castillo.
