Two duos of local artists who have been prolific in beautifying the city with public art over the last few years are working on separate mural projects within blocks of each other during evening hours to avoid heat and crowds.
Mano Mirande and Jerry Williams are painting a memorial mural honoring Aaron Norris at Lemon Street and University Avenue, sponsored by the Aaron Norris Creative Fund..
Meanwhile, Juan Navarro and Patrick Barwinski are working on a beautification project on the pedestrian bridge over Lime Street between 10th and 12th streets, adding color to a highly visible spot near Riverside's justice center.

Both projects are part of the city's commitment to arts and innovation. Residents can view the works in progress during evening hours. The Raincross Gazette will follow the progress of both murals through completion.
