Crack down on Nitrous Oxide & Kratom, Stray Dogs turns 1, Philharmonic upcoming intimate show...
The salon-style gathering at Loft .84 will feature live music and a candid discussion about the orchestra's future direction.
The Riverside Philharmonic is inviting community members to an exclusive evening of jazz and conversation Saturday, Feb. 28, at 4 p.m. at Loft .84 in downtown Riverside.
The event, billed as "Jazz Meets Orchestra: An Evening with the Conductor," offers a rare chance for attendees to connect directly with the organization's leadership in an intimate setting.
Music Director Tomasz Golka and the Ryan Whyman Jazz Trio will perform, while Executive Director Jamie Azpeitia-Sachs leads a discussion about the Philharmonic's upcoming performances, community partnerships, and long-term plans for the organization.
Azpeitia-Sachs, a retired ballet dancer and elected official who took the helm of the Philharmonic in early 2025, has emphasized community engagement as a cornerstone of her leadership. "This evening offers a meaningful opportunity to hear directly from us about the direction of the Philharmonic and the exciting ventures ahead," she said. "It is both a celebration of artistry and a glimpse into the future."
