Neighbor of the Week: Nanci Larsen

Each week, we will introduce a new neighbor. This is not a who's who list. These are regular Riversiders doing exceptional things.

Nanci Larsen is a committed Riversider. She advocates for the preservation of historic structures and neighborhoods on the Boards of the Old Riverside Foundation and the Downtown Area Neighborhood Alliance. You may also find her at the Riverside Elks Lodge.

What is your Mt. Rubidoux summit count? 100

What is your favorite restaurant in town? Anchos Southwest Grill and Bar

What is the most beautiful building in Riverside?  The Mission Inn and the Historic Courthouse

What is your favorite Riverside small business? Mrs. Tiggy Winkles

What is your favorite Riverside non-profit organization? The Mission Inn Foundation

The Festival of Lights: every year on opening night or maybe on a Tuesday? The Upper Crust Sandwich Shoppe

What is your idea of a perfect weekend day in Riverside? A stroll through the Citrus Park in the morning to smell the trees and see the views. Breakfast at the airport to see the planes. Lunch at Backstreet with pie and a tour of the Mission Inn. Then off to Magnolia Center to shop and have dinner at Ancho's, then walk the trail around Mt. Rubidoux with my dogs, then my front porch and a book. 

What is your favorite spot for a date night? Any outside restaurant downtown. The best food is at the place next to Route 30 on Mission Inn Ave (Craftz Lounge).

Do you call it the Galleria or Tyler Mall? Tyler Mall

What is one place in Riverside you would bring back if you could? The Mission Inn Museum

If you could put one message on a billboard on the 91, what would it be? Riverside, the hidden jewel of the IE, experience it or miss out on more than you know.
