The Museum of Riverside Board meets on Wednesday, May 28, at 3 p.m. (agenda) for an update on the museum's $2.7 million budget and renovation projects, programming, and operational challenges, including the upcoming two-year main museum construction period.
The Community Police Review Commission meets on Wednesday, May 28, at 5:30 p.m. (agenda) to review 2024 police department data collected under California’s Racial and Identity Profiling Act. The data shows potential disparities in traffic stops, particularly for Black residents—who were stopped at more than twice their census population rate—and males, who represented 72–75% of all stops despite making up roughly half the population.
