City Council
City Council will meet in closed and open sessions on Tuesday, June 24, in an afternoon session at 3:00 p.m. and an evening session at 6:15 p.m. (agenda). The agenda includes:
- A public hearing to adopt the City's new Master Fees and Charges Schedule for things like permits and inspections for the next fiscal year.
- A discussion before scheduling a Public Hearing for July 16, 2024, to renew the City's ambulance services agreement with AMR, currently the only ambulance provider operating within the City of Riverside, who didn't earn a renewal due to failed response time commitments in 2022 and 2023.
- The final Public Hearing before adopting the City's 2024-2026 budget, which, if approved, will take effect next Monday, July 1, 2024.
Housing and Homelessness Committee
The Housing and Homelessness Committee meets on Monday, June 24, at 6:30 p.m. (agenda) for a project update from the Housing Authority.
Board of Public Utilities
The Board of Public Utilities meets on Monday, June 24, at 3:30 p.m. (agenda) to consider recommending that the City Council approve an updated Cash Reserve Policy to "reduce annual funding to San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Additional Decommissioning Liability Reserve."
Museum of Riverside Board
The Museum of Riverside Board meets on Wednesday, June 26, at 3:00 p.m. (agenda) for a presentation from the Museum's Curator of Natural History, a Poly High School graduate.
The Community Police Review Commission will meet on Wednesday, June 26, at 5:30 p.m. (agenda) to review an Officer-Involved Death case.
Human Relations Commission
The Human Relations Commission meets on Thursday, June 27, at 5:30 p.m. (agenda) for a presentation by the Inter-Faith Council of Riverside on Religious Tolerance and World Conflict and another from TruEvolution on the State of the LGBTQ+ Community.
