CIF Spring Sports Postseason

Prep Sports are winding down as the end of the school year approaches. There are, however, some big contests this weekend.

• Poly Boys Volleyball hosts Samueli Academy Friday, May 10 at 6 pm in the CIF-SS Championship match. Tickets are available here.
• Arlington Baseball hosts Hart High School Friday, May 10 at 3:15 in the CIF-SS Division 2 quarterfinals.
• North Softball won their quarterfinal game against Oak Hills 3-2. They will face Chaminade this Saturday. Time and Location TBA.

College Softball and Baseball

• The Big West will introduce postseason play in the 2025 season for both baseball and softball. 
• UC Riverside Softball (16-28) will finish their season this weekend with a three game series at Cal State Bakersfield.
• Highlander Baseball (15-28) has a handful of games left with the final day of competition being May 25. 
• California Baptist University Softball ended their season with a 1-3 loss against Utah Valley in the WAC tournament quarterfinals on Thursday.
• Lancer Baseball is looking to finish the season strong and improve their seed and avoid the Single Elimination Round In the WAC tournament, in Mesa Arizona, starting may 21.
