After a two-year hiatus, the 39th UC Riverside Pow Wow, hosted by the UCR Native American Student Programs, is back for three days of traditional and ceremonial activities including performances by Miwok dancers, Cahuilla birdsingers, and Danza Azteca Kalpulli Teuxihuitl; dancing contests in a variety of age/gender categories; gourd dancing; arts & crafts and food vendors, and a Ms. UCR Pow Wow Pageant. All dancers, drums and birdsingers — and the general public — are welcome. Free parking in Lot 26. Register today for UCR’s 5th Annual Doundounba Festival, a two-day event featuring West African music, dancing and drumming, film screenings, dance workshops, community discussions, classes and more. A Zoom link will be sent to registered attendees who wish to participate remotely in the film festival and discussion on Friday night.

OG Food Farm is hosting an outdoor workshop where newbies can learn how to set up camp, then sleep over at the Farm. Bring a tent or borrow one from OG. Breakfast is provided. Tickets are available here.

The Philharmonic closes out its 2021-2022 season with a selection of spring-like compositions by Max Bruch, Jean Sibelius, and Miesczslaw Karlowicz, featuring guest violinist Fiona Shea. Please note: RCC requires I.D. and either proof of vaccination or negative test result within 48 hours of entry for attendees 12 years and older.
