October ArtWalk ushers in the unofficial start of the Holiday Season

October is when things start to get fun. They’ve started decorating the Inn, the weather has started to cool, and the vendors on Main start us of with their spookiest wares. Make sure to stop by Division 9 Gallery on Lemon. Cosme, Richie, and the crew have been working on a secret remodel and I’ve heard It’s a must see.

Cultura Without Borders presents Día de los Muertos: Remembering Loved Ones

• 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. (starts 30 minutes before ArtsWalk)
• Create mini altars in shoeboxes with craft supplies
• Learn about indigenous traditions dating back hundreds of years
• Write short essays about departed loved ones (creative writing begins at 7:00 p.m.)
• Limited to 15 participants for altar-making (first come, first served)
• Bring small photos and tiny objects for your altar
