Hello Riverside, and Happy Monday!
We've received many encouraging messages this past week – about the Riverside-only focus of our coverage, the passing of Ken's mom, and surpassing 8,000 subscribers; thank you for the support.
Our inbox is always open for feedback of all kinds, as well as story tips and ideas. Please let us know if you see something we should be covering. Because we have such a small team, we can't even report on everything we want, let alone everything that matters in Riverside. Your input helps us not only with stories we would otherwise miss but also with decisions on what we should be covering.

Local Authors Bring the City's Charm to Life for Preschoolers
Mark and Giselle Cloud bring Riverside to life for preschoolers with their book Hello Riverside.

What better way to celebrate Riverside than through the eyes of its youngest residents? On January 31, Mark and Giselle Cloud, authors of the charming children’s book Hello Riverside, will visit Family Service Association’s Alvord Child Development Center to share their love for the city.
“We wrote the book because, after having our first son Charlie, we realized there was no children’s book like this for Riverside. So, we decided to make one. We love this city and we are proud to raise our family here,” said Mark Cloud.
