Mikey G's is a coffee and bagel shop at 3780 Elizabeth St. in Midtown Riverside, in the Magnolia Center area, open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day. It is known for New York-style bagels made in house, hand-rolled, boiled and baked daily after a 48-hour fermentation, and served alongside matcha and third-wave specialty coffee.
The bagels trace back to Parzel's Bagelry, which Mikey G's acquired from its founder, Kali Hathaway, and folded into its own kitchen. They have built a following of their own: some customers come in for a bagel alone, then discover the drinks. The drink menu runs from espresso tonics and matcha on tap to a matcha flight and seasonal syrups that change through the year.
Co-owners Geoff Gouveia, Jake Driscoll and Steven Burgos built Mikey G's over years of pop-ups around Riverside and a residency at Harvest Christian Fellowship on Arlington Avenue before opening on Elizabeth Street in spring 2026. The tagline on the sign, "For those I love…", stands for their families, their staff and their customers.
