Jorge Barrera and Maribeth Tinio are the latest additions to Riverside's economic development team
Last week the City announced the back to back hires of Jorge Barrera as our new City hires new Economic Development Manager and Maribeth Tinio as our new City Planner following the November hire of Jennifer Lilley as Economic & Community Development Director.
Jorge Barrera is coming from an economic development role with he City of Modesto. In a press release announcing his hire, Barrera said, “I look forward to embracing the local business community and putting my skills to work to make a strong local economy even stronger.”
Maribeth Tinio is coming from the City of Stanton. where she spent the past year as the Interim Community and Economic Development Director and Planning Manager. “It is unique to have someone who has experience in both Land Use and Economic Development,” Lilley said in a press release. “We are so fortunate to have found such a talented professional in Maribeth.”
