Here’s the perfect excuse to kick off your holiday weekend right! With July 4 just the next day, you’ve got zero reason not to come early and stay late at this month’s ArtsWalk. No work tomorrow means you can truly relax, take your time exploring every gallery, catch all the live music, and soak in everything downtown Riverside has to offer. Evening temps are perfect for strolling the Main Street walking mall, and with that holiday spirit in the air, it’s going to be a night to remember.

The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture: Rising Rhythm at this Thursday’s ArtsWalk!

DJ set by DJ Succs2BYou, get creative with a vinyl painting workshop led by The Green Print, and dive into the history of Chicano rhythm with insights from UC Riverside Professor Alfonso Gonzales Toribio. Plus, enjoy a showcase of lowrider bikes courtesy of Chicano Image Bike. Come create and connect with community through art, music, and movement!


All museums and galleries offer free admission during ArtsWalk hours. Bring a few dollars and support the incredible local vendors on the Main Street pedestrian mall — perfect timing to pick up some patriotic jewelry for Friday’s celebration!
