City Council
City Council will meet in closed and open sessions on Tuesday, June, in an afternoon session at 1:00 p.m. and an evening session at 6:15 p.m. (agenda). The agenda includes:
- Considering a $200 "Purchase, Sale, and Development Agreement" for a 392-bed student housing and retail building with a parking structure in the parking lot behind the Mail Library downtown.
- Revisiting City Attorney Phaedra Norton's Employment Agreement after the new City Council voted in their first meeting to reconsider the agreement approved by the outgoing council.
- A workshop on proposed updates to City fees for the upcoming fiscal year.
- A workshop on State-licensed sober living and “Community Care” (for mentally handicapped) homes that operate out of traditional single-family homes in residential neighborhoods.
- A discussion about updating the lease agreement with Live Nation for its management of the Fox Performing Arts Center and Riverside Municipal Auditorium.
Mobility and Infrastructure Committee
The Mobility and Infrastructure Committee meets on Thursday, June 13, at 1:00 p.m. (agenda) to study options for offering smaller residential trash bins at lower monthly rates.
