Transportation Board
The Transportation Board meets Wednesday, December 6, at 5:30 p.m. (agenda) to:
- Consider removing a "Timed No-Parking" zone on Irving St., next to Arlington High School, at the petition of 100% of the three residences in the cul-de-sac.
- Consider converting temporary traffic flow barriers from a 2018 pilot program to permanent improvements prohibiting cut-through traffic at the end of Mission Inn Avenue on Arfon Way.
- Receive a presentation of plans and aspirations for the Downtown Riverside Civil Rights Walk Project.
Planning Commission
The Planning Commission meets on Thursday, December 7, at 9:00 a.m. (agenda) to:
- Consider a Tentative Tract Map to subdivide a 3.52-acre vacant parcel on Dauchy Ave. into six lots for future single-family residences.
- Consider entitlements to permit the sale of alcohol in a Qwik-Way Market at 3225 Market St.
- Look at a new Inclusionary Housing Policy that would require new housing developments to include affordable units or pay fees as high as $30,548 per market rate home built instead of building affordable units in their projects.
- Review plans from Riverside Unified School District to acquire a 4.8-acre parcel to accommodate the growth of the Mark Twain Elementary School campus.
Board of Ethics
The Board of Ethics meets on Thursday, December 7, at 5:00 p.m. (agenda) to review an amended Code of Ethics and Conduct complaint filed by Ben Clymer, Jr., against Councilmember Cervantes.
