La Sierra University is launching a public lecture series as part of a new Sustainability Degree program and a broader effort to promote sustainability on campus and beyond. Environmental scholar Dr. Joni Adamson from Arizona State University will deliver the inaugural event of the series on April 8.

La Sierra University is committed to sustainable practices on campus and as a field of scholarship. LSU recently received a Beautification Award from Keep Riverside Clean and Beautiful and the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce. The university plans to build a new sustainability-themed park on campus with the funds.

The event is free and open to all community members. Registration is required.
