### Housing and Homelessness Committee

The Housing and Homelessness Committee meets on Monday, October 23, at 3:30 p.m. (agenda) for an update on the [feasibility of the Inclusionary Housing Program](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12362521&GUID=65F454C1-D700-48EB-BFEB-0E5C629572D8&ref=raincrossgazette.com) and proposed ordinances and a [Housing Authority project update](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12362522&GUID=B4B461FC-173F-4E56-BBA3-5076E15312D2&ref=raincrossgazette.com).

### Board of Public Utilities

The Board of Public Utilities meets on Monday, October 23, at 6:30 p.m. ([agenda](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=1123081&GUID=4E393AF6-EBA1-49E6-9078-5775E27CF705&ref=raincrossgazette.com)) to consider a $4.3m expense for [extended participation in the Enhanced Recharge Project](https://dpw.sbcounty.gov/flood-control/seven-oaks-dam/?ref=raincrossgazette.com) associated with [Seven Oaks Dam](https://dpw.sbcounty.gov/flood-control/seven-oaks-dam/?ref=raincrossgazette.com) and confirm a recommendation that City Council approve a [fifteen-year $22m annual agreement with SunZia Wind PowerCo](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12362990&GUID=44B2B58F-9DA6-4E73-9A7D-E26C624165BF&ref=raincrossgazette.com) for 125megawatts of wind-powered electricity.

### City Council

City Council will meet in closed and open sessions on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 6:15 p.m. ([agenda](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=1125654&GUID=A449C458-C902-4221-8D2D-A3FFE63223E9&ref=raincrossgazette.com)).

During the afternoon sessions, Council will:

- Consider [extending an exclusive negotiating agreement](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12368199&GUID=485E3418-007B-495B-8F5F-32E18B2D810B&ref=raincrossgazette.com) for the [Riverside Alive project](https://www.overlanddev.com/development-riversidealive?ref=raincrossgazette.com) from December 2023 to June 2025 to facilitate the environmental analysis and clearance.
- Receive a presentation of the Riverside Downtown Partnership’s [Annual Report](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12368217&GUID=D70370E1-CC02-49B9-9204-D2699784F5B8&ref=raincrossgazette.com).
- Discuss a slew of [updates to the Riverside Municipal ](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12368203&GUID=0CE0E22F-1950-4355-B9D1-FADFB1A940D4&ref=raincrossgazette.com)Code (e.g., fence heights, RV parking, retail parking).
- Amend the City’s Master Fees and Charges Schedule to [include a Commercial Cannabis Sales Permit Fee](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12382091&GUID=CF10A343-52F7-477C-9C2D-40C9B84B825B&ref=raincrossgazette.com).

During the evening session:

- Councilmembers Conder and Hemenway recommend allowing the Riverside Transmission Reliability Project (RTRP) Working Group more time to [secure federal funding](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12367632&GUID=32323723-F7C8-4B03-8C2A-7B3BDA4D62D7&ref=raincrossgazette.com) to underground the project.

### Museum of Riverside Board

### Community Police Review Commission

### Human Relations Commission
