### Land Use, Sustainability, and Resilience Committee

The Land Use, Sustainability, and Resilience Committee meets Monday, November 13, at 3:30 p.m. ([agenda](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=1126497&GUID=AB8082DE-7C3D-4879-B76D-D13F567D0BB7&ref=raincrossgazette.com)) for a workshop on regulations related to [keeping chickens in residential neighborhoods](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12409892&GUID=582803AD-781F-4C47-9285-583BF74FC524&ref=raincrossgazette.com) and a discussion about [a dozen proposed updates to Title 20](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12409891&GUID=56931A4E-CA90-462B-910F-393581096AC2&ref=raincrossgazette.com), the City's rules for the management and protection of cultural resources like historic districts, and landmarks.

### Board of Library Trustees

The Board of Library Trustees meets Monday, November 13, at 5:00 p.m. ([agenda](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=1117293&GUID=9198628B-845B-4522-8686-B671C229F680&ref=raincrossgazette.com)) to review the [library's funding sources and process](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12408390&GUID=E9C5CA20-C0B8-4F31-A781-9B002625661B&ref=raincrossgazette.com) and [next steps in developing the new SPC Jesus S. ### City Council

City Council will meet in closed and open sessions on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, in an afternoon session at 1:00 p.m. ([agenda](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=1128827&GUID=BDA6AD60-9497-4F94-92E2-E6F34A6BE73F&ref=raincrossgazette.com)).

The only item open to public discussion is authorizing the City Airport to [accept a $2 million Caltrans airport loan](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12416019&GUID=F41A9657-CDD6-496C-A8A5-FB2EE7B3C936&ref=raincrossgazette.com) to help fund approximately $3.5 million in needed roof replacements and repairs across the airport.

### Safety, Wellness, and Youth Committee

The Safety, Wellness, and Youth Committee meets on Wednesday, November 15, at 1:00 p.m. ([agenda](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=1126498&GUID=219AE8F4-44E7-43E8-A048-5BB3B79B90C0&ref=raincrossgazette.com)) and will hear [a proposal to rename El Dorado Park](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12410636&GUID=B3AE2EE2-AC44-4862-9728-EBA8B1A01D1D&ref=raincrossgazette.com), off California Ave just west of Van Buren Blvd, to Tim Strack Park in honor of Fire Department Captain Tim Strack who died unexpectedly in April 2023.

### Cultural Heritage Board

The Cultural Heritage Board meets on Wednesday, November 15, at 3:30 p.m. ([agenda](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=1132646&GUID=23566AB6-608D-4E1C-B6D3-1A8B04AFECB1&ref=raincrossgazette.com)) to [provide input on the conceptual designs](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12409654&GUID=2095CFAE-9E9A-4219-B5EC-DCDEB7681133&ref=raincrossgazette.com) for the new SPC Jesus S. Duran Eastside Library and consider amending a previously approved Certificate of Appropriateness for [a replacement building for Magnolia Presbyterian Church's sanctuary](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12409678&GUID=11734869-4F6D-497F-920F-01761E601483&ref=raincrossgazette.com) which was destroyed by a fire in December 2018.

### Commission on Disabilities
