### City Council

City Council will meet in closed and open sessions on Tuesday, Mar. 4, in an afternoon session at 1:00 p.m. ([agenda](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=1281395&GUID=83E58EFD-CE28-46B3-A4C3-E899AC79FF25&ref=raincrossgazette.com)). The agenda includes:

- Honoring business leader Matt Webb for Webb and Associates' 80th anniversary and Shirley Coates, President of the Society of Extraordinary Women, for Women's History Month.
- Reviewing the City's acquisition of approximately [$55 million in grant funding](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=13778370&GUID=3E0FE4F6-BAF8-4491-93CD-2CEF14E85288&ref=raincrossgazette.com) during 2024 that added 14% to the city's operating budget.

### Human Resources Board

The Human Resources Board meets on Monday, Mar. 3, at 5:00 p.m. ([agenda](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=1283818&GUID=25DEE0F7-1CDF-4303-9DA1-340D8622CFBA&ref=raincrossgazette.com)) to review the City's Personnel Policies and Procedures and receive its [annual financial update](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=13773605&GUID=F3545BAE-AF88-4D23-A6B4-A9C9DC69333B&ref=raincrossgazette.com) on the City's finances.

### Transportation Board

The Transportation Board Board meets on Wednesday, Mar. 5, at 5:30 p.m. ([agenda](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=1283607&GUID=36854E0C-5EFD-430B-B432-EF366E14421B&ref=raincrossgazette.com)) to review a [request for speed humps](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=13772911&GUID=4B2F8C07-2DE9-43CB-A81E-873D7E08DFA2&ref=raincrossgazette.com) on Green Orchard & Ramona and consider a 12-month traffic pilot project that would [only allow right turns from Sixth Street onto Market Street](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=13773703&GUID=EF3C6CDD-D159-4362-B2F0-66407E808149&ref=raincrossgazette.com) to reduce collision rates and improve traffic flow in downtown Riverside.
