### City Council

City Council will meet in closed and open sessions on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in afternoon sessions at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. and an evening session at 6:15 p.m. ([agenda](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=1159378&GUID=4B5E3E20-F498-472E-AE6C-D7D5F863952E&ref=raincrossgazette.com)). The agenda includes:

- A potential partnership with the Inland Empire Community Foundation to officially [establish the Riverside Nonprofit Resilience Fund](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12722350&GUID=D267225C-A4D8-4BD8-8515-380EC6477F41&ref=raincrossgazette.com) with $2.3 million remaining American Rescue Plan dollars.
- Authorizing a [$4.9 million project](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12722308&GUID=EB7D3605-CCD7-4666-8A40-0BC1CC9145EB&ref=raincrossgazette.com) to resurface 6.5 miles of roads across the city and install three new traffic signals.
- Consideration to a [$5.2 million consulting agreement](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12743451&GUID=7E1864EF-A5D5-4B9B-8565-18CEE9FD6A4F&ref=raincrossgazette.com) for a "Phase 2 Comprehensive General Plan Update."
- Authorizing a [substantial "clean up" of language](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12721890&GUID=D532A259-9F84-47AE-B338-A66D4C7E0471&ref=raincrossgazette.com) in Title 19, the Zoning Code, of the Riverside Municipal Code.
- Awarding a $7.5 million [contract to install 1.9 miles of a new main 24-inch sewer line](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12722337&GUID=7C74578A-7C15-429B-BC56-512852B2CCE5&ref=raincrossgazette.com) along Magnolia Avenue at Pierce Street.
- Establishing an [affordable housing trust fund](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12722342&GUID=825D46D2-FA3B-4FE3-92F2-C0321FB43F43&ref=raincrossgazette.com) to be funded by grants and 50% of land sale proceeds from most City-owned properties.

### Board of Library Trustees

The Board of Library Trustees meets on Monday, March 11, at 5:00 p.m. ([agenda](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=1162898&GUID=C450F90A-EDA2-4CD6-88BB-DA487619F5ED&ref=raincrossgazette.com)).

### Finance Committee

### Commission of the Deaf

### Mobility and Infrastructure Committee

### Airport Commission
