### City Council

City Council will hold a special meeting in closed and open sessions on Tuesday, July 7, in an evening session at 6:15 p.m. ([agenda](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=1423680&GUID=36833B81-1C67-4FCB-ADA4-3E150B81DDE2&ref=raincrossgazette.com)). The agenda includes:

- Adopting resolutions [certifying the June 2026 election results](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=15664977&GUID=D1041F40-2922-4CBF-9ADE-B8ADFED7A120&ref=raincrossgazette.com) and calling a runoff election for the Second and Fourth Ward council seats to be held November 3, 2026, since no candidate won a majority in those races. - Swearing in Luis Hernandez as the newly elected Ward 6 council member. (item 3)

### Finance Committee
