### Park and Recreation Commission

The Park and Recreation Commission meets on Monday, December 18, at 6:30 p.m. ([agenda](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=1138644&GUID=CBA5E3D4-B045-4DDE-B8AB-09A24EF12863&ref=raincrossgazette.com)) for update presentations on the [Bourns Family Youth Innovation Center](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12507073&GUID=5A107BF1-4369-4E76-AB1A-F41CE2193860&ref=raincrossgazette.com) and [tree management](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12507070&GUID=FAEE9F17-5DD0-4A58-908C-C17A4524911D&ref=raincrossgazette.com).

### City Council

City Council will meet in closed and open sessions on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. ([agenda](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=1144035&GUID=416C87EB-4FA7-4040-ADA1-E4EDAEF770B1&ref=raincrossgazette.com)). The agenda includes:

- A committee recommendation to [expand RPU's SHARE program](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12514927&GUID=37027315-1A09-4DD6-ADEC-24F4EC800CA3&ref=raincrossgazette.com), which provides low-income residents with utility bill assistance for water and electric services, to the City's trash service.

- Final approval for [renaming El Dorado Park to Tim Strack Park](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12514898&GUID=9FF954C1-A0AA-47DF-A1C7-B91E6E0CD8A4&ref=raincrossgazette.com) in honor of fallen [Riverside Fire Department Captain Tim Strack](https://www.raincrossgazette.com/remembering-tim-strack/).
- A year-end update on the City's [annual General Fund Transfer](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=12534202&GUID=745355C5-C33A-48BE-A100-BE64C5584682&ref=raincrossgazette.com) from the utilities fund to the general fund, amounting to $50.5 million for 2023.

### Safety, Wellness, and Youth Committee

### Planning Commission
