### Board of Public Utilities

The Board of Public Utilities meets on Monday, August 25, at 6:30 p.m. ([agenda](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=1328931&GUID=CCA368DE-BA73-4F7A-829A-FAA83EF9CC33&ref=raincrossgazette.com)) to review two water agreements, including [extending a $24.05 million bond guarantee for $259,000](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=14591373&GUID=CB83CCD9-CC77-4E15-8C79-D592B6AA5F6D&ref=raincrossgazette.com) over three years to maintain current financing terms and [increasing a road repair contract to $4 million annually](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=14591382&GUID=10BBF994-28BD-4653-9966-A009871795CF&ref=raincrossgazette.com) to address 4,000 backlogged locations from water line maintenance.

### Museum of Riverside Board

### Community Police Review Commission

The Community Police Review Commission meets on Wednesday, August 27, at 5:30 p.m. ([agenda](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=1329530&GUID=FCC318E9-798F-4862-8298-021A07E035E2&ref=raincrossgazette.com)) to continue review of a 2022 officer-involved death case and discuss multiple police department "public employee personnel matters" in closed session.

### Planning Commission

The Planning Commission meets on Thursday, August 28, at 9 a.m. ([agenda](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=A&ID=1329530&GUID=FCC318E9-798F-4862-8298-021A07E035E2&ref=raincrossgazette.com)) reviewing the [City's recommendation to approve an Environmental Impact Report](https://riversideca.legistar.com/View.ashx?M=F&ID=14598556&GUID=A72DE5D6-5371-44CC-B4AF-B48B426180ED&ref=raincrossgazette.com) (EIR) for the [Riverside Alive project](https://www.overlanddev.com/development-riversidealive?ref=raincrossgazette.com) that would allow future mixed-use redevelopment of the downtown Convention Center area with up to 168 residential units and 376 hotel rooms; if approved the EIR will advance to City Council for final certification.
