## Friday, August 5

### Night with the Museum – “The Mid-Century Modern Marvels of Marr”

**Time**: 6:30 – 8:30 PM  
**Location**: Back to the Grind – 3575 University Ave.  
**Cost**: Free

Scott Watson, MHC, City of Riverside Historic Preservation Officer, will introduce the Inland Empire’s architectural masterpieces designed by the renown Clinton Marr at this[ event is sponsored by the Museum of Riverside](https://www.facebook.com/events/974937813163790).

### Movies in the Park – The Mitchells vs. The Machines

**Time**: Begins at Dusk – about 8:00 PM  
**Location**: Bryant Park – 7950 Philbin Ave.  
**Cost**: Free

Riverside Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department host Movies in the Park. A community event for all ages. Blankets, chairs, and snacks are recommended.

## Saturday, August 6

### Cars and Coffee

**Time**: 8:00 – 10:00 AM  
**Location**: 6115 Arlington Ave., in the Harvest Church parking lot  
**Cost**: Free

Classic car owners meet to show off the latest upgrades to their vehicles over a cup of coffee. Sponsored by Rickshaws of Riverside which has been a Riverside Car Club since 1958.

### Splash Pads (It is going to be a HOT one this weekend)

**Time**: 9 AM – 6 PM  
**Locations**: Andulka Park, Arlington Heights Sports Park, Doty-Trust Park, Fairmount Park, Orange Terrace Park and Sycamore Highlands Park  
**Cost**: Free

Looking for a way to cool down from the hot summer sun? Splash pads are now available every day at various park locations in Riverside. This event is sponsored by Detail Garage.

### BINGO Saturdays (And Mondays)

**Time**: Doors Open at 9:30 AM, Game Starts at Noon  
**Location**: Janet Goeske Center, 5257 Sierra Ave.,  
**Cost**: 2-pack minimum buy in- $20

A live caller adds to the interest of the game along with cash prizes up to 500 dollars. This event is open to the public ages 18 and older.

### Vintage Baseball Game

**Time**: 10:00 am  
**Location**: California School for The Deaf, 3044 Horace St. Riverside, CA  
**Cost**: Free

The Riverside Smudgepots, SoCal Vintage Baseball league champions play against The Temecula Dear Bros. Event hosted by Sandals Church Palm Avenue.

### Magnolia Center Marketplace

**Time**: 4:00 – 9:00 PM  
**Location**: 6520 Magnolia Ave. Riverside, CA – Sunnyside Drive by Riverside Plaza  
**Cost**: Free

Over 90 vendors offer food, crafts and vintage pieces along with live entertainment on the first and third Saturdays of every month from April to October.

### Market Night

**Time**: 7:30-9:30 pm  
**Location**: Mt. Rubidoux SDA, 5320 Victoria Ave, Riverside, CA  
**Cost**: Free

An outdoor movie, bounce house and video games will be added entertainment to this month’s Market Night hosted by Mt. Rubidoux SDA church.
